{"id":4598,"date":"2023-01-19T12:40:15","date_gmt":"2023-01-19T11:40:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ljud.si\/slo\/?page_id=4598"},"modified":"2024-10-21T20:33:20","modified_gmt":"2024-10-21T18:33:20","slug":"about-us-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ljud.si\/slo\/en\/about-us-2\/","title":{"rendered":"About Us"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>LJUD<\/strong>\u00a0is a collective of idealists from very different backgrounds who have gathered to change the world through the medium of art.\u00a0<strong>We believe in theatre as a \u201cliving\u201d phenomenon that must be in direct contact with the present times.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Playing with the \u201cfourth wall\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0between the actor and the audience is vital for the group in order to establish theatre performance as<strong>\u00a0a game<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>a ritual<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>a social event<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>We are currently focused on\u00a0<strong>performing in public spaces,\u00a0<\/strong>combining<strong>\u00a0different media, genres and techniques<\/strong>, but you can also find us making music, films, writing, DJ-ing, gardening, playing chess and practicing levitation.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2006 we have also been developing\u00a0<strong>new approaches to educational, social and environmental projects<\/strong>.
