The Israeli Invasion was part the Bat Yam street theater festival.

A week long intervention in the public space, which includes a spatial installation (the landed spaceship), theatrical workshops (discovering your inner alien) and an interactive theatrical happening (the first contact between earth and an interplanetary space expedition). The project is examining questions of intercultural societies and conventions of behavior in the public space through playful interactive theater.

The development of the project (which was premiered in August 2008 on the La Strada festival of Graz) was supported by the IN SITU network, La Strada festival, Slovenian ministry of culture, Festival Ljubljana, SEM, City museum of Ljubljana and MGLC.
