LJUD is an informal group of young individuals, who are creative in very different areas, but see the theatre and performing arts as a space to work together and enrich their individual ideas. They believe in the theatre as a “live” art that is in direct contact with the present times.

Interaction with the audience and playing with the “fourth wall” between the actors and the audience has great importance for the group because they are trying to establish the theatre performance as a game, a ritual and a social event.

They are currently focused on working in public spaces, combining different media, genres, styles and techniques.

In the past they have worked together in productions of various bigger institutions but have since formed KUD LJUD as their own independent production organisation.
